An electronic circuit protection module designed to continuously monitor, analyze, and limit current draw in 24 V DC secondary control circuits. It operates via internal solid-state semiconductor electronics that actively measure the load current, automatically isolating connected downstream equipment or field devices if an overcurrent, short circuit, or prolonged overload occurs. Unlike traditional thermal-magnetic circuit breakers or slow-acting glass fuses, it selectively trips in milliseconds—or provides pre-warning signals to higher-level PLCs via status outputs and LEDs—before power supply voltage collapses, preserving continuous system operation for adjacent parallel control channels.
