Blower

A mechanical fluid-handling device engineered to move air, gas, or vapor at a moderate pressure ratio by increasing flow velocity. It operates via an internal motor-driven rotor—such as a multi-bladed centrifugal impeller or positive-displacement lobes—that draws gas in through an inlet, imparts kinetic energy, and forces it through a curved casing or outlet scroll. As the gas is channeled into a constricted housing, its dynamic velocity converts into static pressure, generating a high-volume, directed airflow capable of overcoming system resistance for ventilation, cooling, combustion air supply, or pneumatic material transport.
