I/O Module - (multiple Input Module)

An Omron NX-series high-density digital input expansion module engineered for receiving discrete signal states from field devices within centralized or distributed EtherCAT control systems. It operates by monitoring up to 16 PNP-type (sinking/sourcing inputs at 24V DC) field sensors, limit switches, and pushbuttons, converting high-level industrial signals into low-voltage logic state data sent across the internal NX bus back to the primary PLC controller. Featuring high-speed optical isolation per channel, integrated status LEDs, and screwless push-in wire terminal blocks, it isolates sensitive control electronics from industrial field electrical noise, ground loops, and voltage surges while capturing real-time machine feedback.
