I/O Module - (mulitple Input Module)

An Omron NX-series digital output expansion module designed for high-density control signal switching within centralized or distributed fieldbus control systems. It operates by receiving multi-channel control commands from an NX-series CPU or EtherCAT coupler and driving up to 16 PNP-type (sourcing) field outputs at 24V DC. Utilizing solid-state transistor switching with ultra-fast response times, it opens and closes current paths to activate external solenoids, relay coils, indicator lights, and actuator valving, while providing full optical isolation between internal logic networks and external industrial field wiring to safeguard the primary controller against voltage spikes and noise.
